At Smart Start Learning Center, our mission is to provide a nurturing, safe and stimulating environment for children ages six weeks to twelve years old. Our dedicated team strives to meet the needs of each child by focusing on their social, cognitive, physical and emotional growth. Our goal is for all children to feel welcome and excited to learn through age appropriate play and activities.
Child Development Philosophy
We believe that children learn best in a clean, friendly and child-initiated play environment that helps to grow trust, creativity, self confidence and acceptance of each child’s differences. The children are taught to be polite and to share. We teach each child to use materials properly and clean up after themselves. Curriculum Statement
We know how important the early years are for children’s growth, development and learning new skills. We provide weekly lesson plans that are based on the observed interests and needs of the children. We incorporate music, books, art, drama and outdoor and indoor play.
